We would like to announce that, by mutual agreement, the contract with Head Coach Maciej SKORZA has been terminated as of Tuesday, April 28.
In addition, the contracts of Coach Rafał Janas and Coach Maiki Hayashi have also been terminated effective the same date.

Following the termination of Head Coach Maciej SKORZA’s contract, Tatsuya Tanaka, currently Head Coach of the U-21 team and Assistant Coach of the top team, will take charge as interim head coach of the first team until the end of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE.

First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the players, staff, and all the fans and supporters who have supported us throughout.

Even in this difficult situation, I remained fully committed to fighting together with the team until the very end.
However, after in-depth discussions with the club regarding the current situation, I came to believe that the team needed a change. Together, we carefully considered what would be the best option for the team, and ultimately reached this decision.

The atmosphere created by the fans and supporters at Saitama Stadium has always been something truly special to me, giving me great strength and courage at all times. Everything I experienced here is irreplaceable, and what I experienced in the 2022 ACL Final will remain deeply in my heart forever.

The nearly three years I spent at this wonderful club have meant a great time to me. I sincerely hope that Urawa Reds will become champions next season.
