Trial-match comments

Mihailo Petrovic

(Head Coach)

“I think it was a battle between two teams with different styles. One team used short passes a lot and played dangerous football up to about 30 meters in our own half. One team used short passes a lot, but sometimes they used long passes to create space behind the opponents, and it was a football that specifically approached the goal.
I am the manager of Urawa, so I may have a slightly different view than Urawa, but I think today's game was a game that we had to win. I think it's also soccer that it ends in a draw. However, I think the supporters were able to see a very good game today."

Opponent team comment

Ranko Popovic

(Head Coach)

"I think we Trial a really great and entertaining Trial today. I believe that at the very least, those who watched the soccer Trial in Japan today were able to enjoy it.
Two high-quality teams with different styles played their best, and one team played counterattacks, a style of football that breaks up Trial, and the quality of their counterattacks was very high, and I think they are a dangerous team. You can see how tough and fast the rhythm of Trial was by the fact that several of the opposing players cramped up, and the fact that one of them, a team that has not played in the AFC Champions League, cramped up, shows how fast the tempo was in the second half.
In the first half, I think it was a very evenly matched Trial. Both teams created chances and Trial was evenly matched, but in the second half, we were able to take control and play the game well.
Although we were partly helped by luck at the end, it was Trial that we could have won. I think we played well throughout the 90 minutes to earn this result.
In the second half, the other team replaced Popo with Haraguchi, and I felt that they were more intent on counterattacks, and because they have high-quality counterattacks, we had to be careful of that when we played.
