Trial-match comments
Mihailo Petrovic
(Head Coach)
- "Any kind of defeat hurts. In my opinion, we lost by a large margin, but the difference in the game was never as big as the margin of error. In any case, I think the timing at which we conceded the points was poor.
Early in the first half, we were scored on a long shot, and although we managed to tie the score at 1-1 at the end of the first half, we conceded a second goal just before the end.
We conceded the third goal early in the second half, and I think there was a problem with the timing when we conceded it. We conceded goals throughout Trial, but we did well in attacking the sides and in the center. Unfortunately, we lacked the precision of our final shots, final passes, and dribbles from the sides to break down the opponent, the kind of precision that directly leads to goals. Even after the score was widened to 1-3, our players fought with all their might until the end to get the second goal. It is very positive that we were able to show that feeling and fighting spirit that never gives up.
Even though the score difference had widened at the end, the players still went for the points. Although they were a little too forward at the end and lost their overall balance, they showed a fight that never gave up until the end.
In today's Trial, we were able to see some areas where we lacked, but I think we can take that as a positive thing in order to improve in the future. Today, we gave our young players a chance to Trial, and I think they are growing Trial Trial In the remaining three Trial of the Nabisco Cup, we will continue to fight with all our might in order to get through the qualifiers.
And to all the supporters who came to watch today, even though it was a weekday, we lost by a large margin of 1-4, but I think it was wonderful that you supported the players and cheered them on until the very end, and I would like to thank all of those supporters."
Opponent team comment
Sergio Soares
(Head Coach)
- “I think it was a very fast-moving game, and we were able to show a very good performance as a team.
First of all, in terms of defense, we were able to hold off against the opponent's attacks with solid defense, and we were able to make quick transitions, connect passes with solid grounders, and reach the finish.
In the second half, the vertical movement and movement that I always requested, including the players on the front line and the side halves, came out many times. I made a firm decision on what to do. In that sense, it was a very satisfying game with very good content. I think it was a game where the content of the performance was clearly reflected in the score.”
