Notice of retirement of director Maciej Skorza
We would like to inform you that it has been decided that Coach Maciej Skorza will retire after the 2023 season.

``I have decided to step down as manager of Urawa Reds at the end of this season.
It is a very difficult decision for me to leave the wonderful place that is Urawa Reds, but I have made this decision because I feel that it is time to prioritize work and family in my life.
When making this decision, we spent a lot of time talking with the club. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to SD Tsuchida (Sports Director) and TD Nishino (Technical Director), who have been by my side throughout the season and have respected this decision.
Urawa Reds club is made up of great people.
This is a club where all the players, team staff, club staff, fans and supporters are involved with a special feeling.
I have great respect for this great club.
My future goal is to return to Urawa Reds as a manager again.
I will be passing the baton from former manager Ricardo (Rodriguez) to the next manager, but Urawa Reds is a great club with great staff and players, as well as passionate fans and supporters. I believe that we can continue to achieve great results, and I am confident that the future of Urawa Reds will be bright.
The season isn't over yet.
So for now, I won't say goodbye.
There are a number of important matches left and the fight continues.
Let's defend our 3rd place in the J League with determination and fight together until the end for the ACL and Club World Cup."

``First of all, on behalf of the club, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Coach Maciej course, Coach Maciej is an excellent coach, but Urawa Reds as a person. He dealt seriously and sincerely with everyone who gathered there.The club's consensus was that we would like such a wonderful coach to continue to lead the team next season. I'm very disappointed that it didn't come true, and I'm very sorry to all the people who had high hopes for it.
Next season, I will be entrusting the leadership of the team that coach Maciej and former coach Ricciardo have grown to a coach who can be expected to further develop the team, but as I have said repeatedly, the direction of the growth process is uncertain. We recognize that it is important how we can continue this, and this change in director will not jeopardize that continuity."
