To enrich forests, a process called "thinning" is necessary. Thinning allows sunlight to reach the base of the trees, protecting the forest soil and contributing to the conservation of biodiversity. Furthermore, healthy trees absorb CO2, helping to prevent global warming and disasters such as landslides.
In this workshop, coinciding with -THE SAITAMA DAY-, we will be making keychains of Redia Family using recycled thinned wood from forests in Saitama Prefecture.
