Electronic Money Campaign, official ball presentation ceremony

Before the game against Vissel Kobe on 4th December, the “Official Ball” presentation ceremony for the “Electronic Money Campaign” was held in the ballroom of the Saitama Stadium.

“Electronic Money Campaign” was to give an original sticker to anyone who has used electronic money such as Edy, PASMO and Suica at Urawa Reds home games. Those who have used Edy stand a chance to participate in a lucky draw where they stand a chance to win the official match ball with players’ autographs.

5 people who won were invited to the ballroom. They have used “Edy” during the period from 17th August (against Vegalta Sendai) to 30th October (against Montedio Yamagata). Each winner went up to the stage where usually the Team Managers’ press conference is held after game. President Mitsuo Hashimoto presented the official ball to them and there was a photo taking session as well.

“I am happy. When I was told I won, I could not believe it. From now on, I will support Reds in away games as well”, said Toshiyuki Enomoto. “I could not believe that I won. I always visit the stadium to watch every game and buy stuff. I am very happy to receive the ball”, said Toshiyuki Furukawa. “This will be my treasure. I will continue to visit the stadium.” (Tomoko Kakuda) “When I heard the news, I was wondering what is going on. I am happy as I have been supporting Reds ever since they were formed.” (Harumi Takizawa)

Mr. Ichikawa, another winner, watched the game against Montedio Yamagata in the typhoon. “My wife answered the phone and ran to tell me the news. It was really good to watch the game despite the weather. Thank you very much”, said Ichikawa.
