"We want to take revenge," said head coach Maciej Skorza (regular press conference, February 19th).

On the 19th, Maciej Skorza a press conference was held online by the director, in which he spoke about his enthusiasm for the MEIJI YASUDA J1 100 YEAR VISION LEAGUE Regional League Round 3 Yokohama F・Marinos match to be held at Nissan Stadium on the 21st (Sat).

(Some players were taken out of the open training session on the 17th, but we are also concerned about the condition of the Yusuke Matsuo players. Is there anything you can tell us about the condition of the players for the next Yokohama F. Marinos round?)
You started with a very difficult question. After the last Trial we have had some problems. We have had some injuries and some others, but in the case of (Yusuke) Matsuo, I think we can say that he is seriously injured. I think it will be difficult for him to compete in the next Trial. The medical staff is working hard to get him back as soon as possible."

(I thought it was interesting that they combined Matsuo and Renji Hidano in the training camp Kyoto Sanga F.C. match, and the same combination was used for the opening round. However, if they are not in good condition, we have to think of a different way. How have you been preparing for such a situation?)
We prepared for the three away games by considering Renji and Yusuke as our main players. If they were not there, we would have Isaac (Kiesterin), for example. Teruuchi (Toshikazu) and (Rio) Futata are also players who can play as strikers, but I would like to avoid saying who will play and how at this time.

(Last season, it was difficult to get a goal from the flow in the last 10 Trial. There was not a single penalty kick throughout the year. In the last 2 Trial those two have been born. How do you see the team's response to the changes and the results of the team's preparation from training camp?)
There are a few new elements that we have added since training camp, but I felt that the team was changing during training camp. Coaches Ikeda (Nobuyasu) and Maesako (Masato) have made great efforts to prepare the attack, both during the training camp and since the start of the season. I hope that will have an effect in the form of more goals scored in the future."

(Yokohama F. Marinos suffered a heavy defeat away from home last season, while Yokohama F. Marinos has lost two consecutive games to start the season, I have the impression that the way they fight and defend has changed, how does Maciej coach feel?)
"Compared to the most recent Trial, I think the director is the same and the composition of the team members is close. In addition, there is an interesting Brazilian winger like Tevis. The last matchup was disastrous for us. We conceded four goals in the first half and it was a poor 45 minutes for us. Three of those goals came from set pieces. In the next match at Trial, we will keep our concentration from the start and hope to get our revenge.

(There was talk that Matsuo was seriously injured. Is it a muscular problem?)
(Is it a muscular problem?) "I can't give you too many details at this point. The medical staff is working very hard to treat him. Maybe the club will make an announcement in the future, but at the moment I can't tell you anything about it.

(FC Tokyo game was not a good result, as the team was caught up in the final minutes and lost in a penalty shootout, but the players' expressions were bright in the open training session afterwards. I have the impression that they are responding well and are positively working on this year's soccer. Maciej How does the director feel about the reactions and motivation of the players after Trial and in this week's training?)
"We lost the game with 120 seconds to go and lost in the penalty shootout, so the atmosphere in the locker room right after Trial the end of the game was pretty bad. However, looking back, the performance was good and we created some good moments. I think we played an aggressive, high intensity game. That may have been a factor in the training after the off day, and everyone was working on it in a very positive way."

(Do you sense a positive atmosphere in the way the players are approaching this year's policy?)
(Do you sense a positive atmosphere in the way the players are approaching this year's policy? There is also a very positive atmosphere in the locker room, something we didn't see much of in the second half of last season, so we are trying to maintain that as much as possible."

(In the 2 Trial so far, I have often seen critiques that your pressing from the front is working, and I have the impression that you are defending collectively, with not only the front line but also the midfield working together and the final line up in the right positions, but how do you feel about the response? Do you feel that there are areas for improvement in the defense?)
(Do you feel there are areas for improvement in terms of defense? For example, after pressing high with high intensity, I think it is necessary for us to keep the ball and Trial advance. We are trying to apply a high-intensity high press, and our volantis are coming forward, and our defensive line is also pushing up to defend. I think we are in a transitional stage in this process, and mistakes are bound to happen, but we want to move in that direction.

(I would like to ask about the schedule. Last season, there were weekdays in between, and there was the excuse of the FIFA Club World Cup, but last season and this season, we are playing three consecutive away games from the start of the season. For example, in Germany, the first half of the season is simply changed so that there is no disadvantage or disadvantage. What did you frankly think when the schedule was announced?)
Trial Last year we started the season with a series of away games, which did not go well for us, so I was a little worried about this year's schedule. We have been scoring points and creating chances in away games, so I think our overall attitude toward away games has changed compared to last year. So I don't feel that the calendar gives any team an advantage.

(What about the Polish league?)
Basically, away games and home games come alternately, and it is rare to have two away games or two home games in a row. The third away game last season was against Shonan (Bellmare), but we lost 1-2. I think Shonan was in third or second place at that time, but after that, Shonan's performance and Pos dropped off, but we were in a situation where we were playing Shonan when they were at their strongest. Every team has its good and bad times, but I think it is important in this short tournament to prepare ourselves to play at 100 percent every week, rather than thinking too much about what our opponents are doing at that time.

(I would like to ask about closing for the battle from here on. If you only take out that scene against FC Tokyo, we were beaten in front of the goal, but we also saw the attitude of carrying the ball under pressure from a very high position throughout the added time. Do you want to continue that kind of awareness in the closing stages of future battles?)
I am not satisfied with the way we managed the endgame at Trial. That includes my own judgment, but there is a part of me that says we did not possess the ball well in that period of time. I think we need to keep the ball for a longer period of time. However, I think the high press and the reactions of the players after the goal were good, because we want to press as hard as possible during the 90 minutes.

(Regarding our opponents' substitutions, FC Tokyo has a bench full of unique players, and I think we knew that both Kaeki Yamada, who scored the goal, and Kento Hashimoto, who crossed the ball, had dangerous left-foot kicks. However, when Futata came in, the opponent's left back was Yuto Nagatomo, and when Kento Hashimoto came out later, it would be difficult to pay attention to that player, but what do you think about the instructions to players in those areas?)
I told Rio even before Kenjin Hashimoto came in, "If Nagatomo and Kenjin Hashimoto take over, they will come in aggressively and make a lot of crosses, so let's be sure to get close to them. However, we were not able to stop them effectively, and as a result, they raised their crosses. FC Tokyo Reds had quality players on the bench, and as a result, goals were scored by players on the bench. However, Reds also had quality players on the bench, and Yoichi (Naganuma) showed very good defense against Inter, so I put him on the pitch in that role, but I think some of my decisions did not go well.

(As an option for the Reds side, Danilo Boza I heard that the player also played at sideback in Brazil, and I have seen footage of him. Boza is also a strong candidate for center back, but with both Yuta Miyamoto and Kenta Nemoto players, there may come a time when it would be useful to play Boza at side back if necessary when he is on the bench. Do you have any thoughts on that?)
'Of course we have that as an option, and we have played him at right back in some of our preseason training matches. Considering Danilo's style, when he comes in at right back, I think it will be like a hybrid. When we attack, Danilo will stay in front and we will be a three-piece team, and when we defend, we will be a four-piece team.

(He said that the opening game against JEF United Ichihara Chiba would be the benchmark, but the mileage dropped in the FC Tokyo game. FC Tokyo I don't think we can make a general comparison because of the team style of the two teams, but how do you evaluate the FC Tokyo game when the Chiba game is used as a standard?)
"In the FC Tokyo game, the total mileage was 116 kilometers, so it was a little less compared to 120 kilometers in the Chiba game. However, as you said, I think it was also affected by the opponent. FC Tokyo was 113 kilometers. Every Trial, I think it is difficult to keep the best physical figures. For example, in the FC Tokyo game, we didn't have the ball possession by ourselves for a long time. But I think the physical aspect is one of the key points, given the defense we are trying to play."

(This year Urawa Reds has replaced two analysis and defensive coaches. Coach Maiki Hayashi, a specialist in analysis, is now on the bench as defensive coach, and Tomoki Hasegawa and Kentaro Nagai, both of whom studied analysis at Tsukuba University Soccer Club and have analyzed for other J League clubs, have joined the team. What impact do these three bring to the team?)
Coach Maiki Hayashi has worked with us for a long time, so I am not surprised about his good results as a coach. He is a young and talented Japanese coach and I think he is doing a good job. The new staff in charge of analysis is also making a very big effort and we are having a lot of conversations. For example, prior to this press conference, we had a lengthy meeting on stats analysis. I believe that this new staffing and arrangement has had a positive effect on the team, and I believe we will see the fruits of it in the future."

(Last week, based on my own data, I said Urawa Reds that the second and fourth kickers were more likely to miss, but against FC Tokyo the second kicker, Shoya Nakajima, missed. how did you feel about the data based on the history of penalty shootouts?)
'I see penalty shootouts and soccer as two different things. Trial I think the human factor comes into play, which is more difficult to control than in the middle. Of course we are training and will do so again tomorrow at the end of training, but I think there are areas that can be improved while doing so. This penalty shootout was Trial won not because FC Tokyo was good, but because we made mistakes and let FC Tokyo win. For example, if we lost because FC Tokyo 's goalkeeper made a save, it would be more acceptable. However, this tournament with the penalty shootout has been an interesting experience for me, and I hope to be able to talk about it again after we see the transition."
