On the 14th, the Saitama City Midori Fire Department Firefighting Fair was held at AEON MALL Urawa Misono in conjunction with the "2025 Autumn National Fire Prevention Campaign," and Kenta Nemoto participated.
Urawa Reds, in cooperation with Midori Ward Fire Department, is continuously engaged in awareness-raising activities aimed at raising fire prevention awareness among all citizens and promoting the creation of a safe and secure city, and this event was held as part of those activities.

On stage, Midori Fire Chief Kunihiko Yakaku presented Nemoto with the appointment letter as one-day fire chief. When Nemoto, dressed in a firefighter uniform, received the letter of appointment, the audience erupted in applause.

Nemoto, who was appointed as the one-day fire chief, addressed the attendees, saying, "I am very happy to be the one-day fire chief of Midori Fire Station. I would like to make sure that today's experience leads to everyone's safety and security."

After the training, staff from Midori Fire Station guided the participants on a tour of the fire prevention equipment inside AEON MALL Urawa Misono.
The participants were given an explanation about the facility's disaster prevention management efforts, while learning about equipment that we don't usually have the opportunity to think about, such as fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, sprinklers, and emergency lights.

"I am very pleased that Urawa Reds players will be participating in disaster prevention activities. I am extremely grateful that a large team like Urawa Reds is working closely with the local community and helping to promote these activities.
"The awareness-raising efforts of professional athletes have a great influence on local residents and are of great significance as a form of public relations for fire prevention. We hope to continue working together to promote safety in the community."

"Since becoming a professional soccer player, I have had the opportunity to take part in a variety of community service activities, but this was my first time serving as fire chief for a day, and it was a very meaningful experience. I believe it is important to cooperate and contribute in this way to the local community that supports us on a daily basis. The role of fire chief is not an easy one to fulfill, and I felt the weight of the responsibility. My father is a firefighter, so I was happy to be able to wear the same uniform as him, and I felt that it looked cool in a different way than the regular uniform.
Many people came to the venue today, and I was reminded once again of the importance of being able to contribute as a member of Urawa Reds.
I would also like to thank the Midori Fire Station, who cooperated with us today, for their daily support in ensuring the safety and security of Saitama Stadium. I will never forget my daily gratitude and will continue to work hard as a member of Urawa Reds."
