安居海渡 J1リーグ通算100試合出場
Kaito Yasui made his 100th Trial appearance in the J1 League on March 23 in the 31st Shimizu S-Pulse match of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League.
Born in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, Yasui joined Urawa Reds in 2022, having watched Trial of Urawa Reds Saitama Stadium with his family since childhood.
At Ryutsu Keizai University, where he went on from Urawa Gakuin High School, Yasui was one of the best volunterists in the university and played a key role in the team, even in a grade where 12 players, more than the starters, went on to play professionally.
In his rookie year, he got an opportunity to start in the opening game of the Meiji Yasuda Seimei J1 League, away Kyoto Sanga F.C. from home, but he was unable to show his strengths in an unfamiliar top position, and his first and last opportunity to start was in the first game of the season. In the remaining 33 Trial he made only 5 Trial appearances in the middle of the season.
Maciej Skorza In 2023, when he took over as manager, he did not appear on the bench for the first 2 Trial matches of the season, but in the third match against Cerezo Osaka at Urawa Komaba Stadium, the home opener for Urawa Reds, he made a midway appearance and scored a powerful mid-range shot in the 82nd minute at the end of a 1-1 Trial game. Yasui's first professional goal was a valuable final goal that gave the team its first win of the season.
Since then, Yasui has steadily increased his Trial number of appearances, and in 2023 he made 31 Trial appearances in the league, starting 20 Trial of them, making it a breakthrough season.
However, when a new coach took over in 2024 Per-Mathias Hoegmo with expectations of even greater things to come, the mainstays of the previous season found themselves in the humiliating position of not even being subbed in the red-white matches at training camp before the season started.
When the season began, 6 Trial spent days without even making the bench. Even so, the volante, who is aware of the fact that while his overall ability is high, his lack of inferiority makes it difficult for his superior abilities to stand out and for his strengths to be communicated to those around him, never faltered in his efforts to showcase his talents from the training sessions. He made his first appearance on the bench and made a mid-season appearance in a game against Sagan Tosu in the 7th round, and although there was a coaching change midway through the season, Maciej, who knew Yasui well, was reappointed as manager. As a result, Yasui has played in all but 6 Trial of the first 32 Trial matches, starting in 27 Trial of them, establishing a solid position in the team.
Needless to say, his performance this season has been nothing short of spectacular. He has played in all 31 Trial league games so far, only 1 Trial of which has come in the middle of the game, and he has continued to impress in both offense and defense, based on running and fighting for his position as the team's navel.
Even so, his potential is endless, as if he has yet to fully display all of his strength. Kaito Yasui What kind of a player will he become in the future? Urawa Reds What kind of achievements will he make in the future? It is a blessing for fans and supporters to be able to see this up close and personal.
