Conducted safe driving seminars

On the 18th, a "Safe Driving Seminar" was held for the top team players and team staff at the clubhouse of Ohara Training Ground. Sana Yamaguchi from Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance, a partner of Urawa Reds was invited as the lecturer, and the seminar focused on the themes of "responsibility associated with accidents," "ways of thinking about accident prevention," and "response when an accident occurs," with concrete examples. As Urawa Reds players, they confirmed how they should raise their awareness of traffic safety and how they should act in the event of an actual accident.

In the "Responsibility Associated with Accidents" session, it was emphasized that accidents do not only entail direct damages such as compensation, but also a large "social responsibility" such as the loss of credibility of individual players and the club as a whole. In addition, in an accident case study using dashcam footage, the factors that lead to accidents were considered and discussed with the instructor and the club staff who acted as facilitator. There was a lively exchange of opinions during the seminar, and at the end, all participants vowed to drive safely and follow traffic rules, concluding the seminar for the day.

[Yota Sato]
"When you oversleep, you tend to feel the need to hurry. That's when it's most dangerous, so I've realized once again how important it is to drive with ample space to maneuver. Whether I have time or not, I'll try to drive slowly."

[Shion Homma]
"If I get into a serious traffic accident, my career as an athlete can end in an instant. I've always thought that. After taking this course, I want to drive more carefully. It's important to give yourself plenty of time."
