Yasui: "I want to be well prepared for everything."
After the Meiji Yasuda J1 League 14th Kyoto Sanga F.C. game [MATCH PARTNER RDC] on March 15, Kaito Yasui player who scored the first goal talked about the goal scene and his thoughts on the three consecutive wins.
(Was the goal scene your best zone?)
'Yes, it was. When (Thiago Santana) dropped it, I was already conscious of hitting it, so I felt I could swing (my leg) comfortably.
(You were unusually enthusiastic after the goal and posed with guts, weren't you?)
I tried to imitate the jumping guts pose that Yusuke Matsuo often does.
(You entered the anchor position today, but Samuel Gustafson you have been playing that position all season, what were you conscious of when Yasui entered the position today?)
I was aware that the opponent was coming (from the front), so I was trying to make one-touch movements to clear the ball as much as possible, and I also tried to clear the ball myself as I was fouled several times. I thought I could show strength in that area, so if it was Sam (Samuel Gustafson), I think I would have been able to handle that kind of situation, but I am not Sam, so I was conscious of doing my best in my own game.
(I think the coach may be wondering how to use you after your good performance in today's Trial, but did you feel that you were up to the task yourself?)
(I think I was able to play with a lot of energy.
(Is the anchor position the most comfortable for you?)
(Is the anchor position the most comfortable for you?) "I think it doesn't matter where as long as I can be on Trial, but in my mind, that position is the one I can do well like today.
(Did you get the impression from watching from behind that you were passing the ball around in the area near the goal and wondering when you were going to shoot?)
(Did you have a sense from the back that you would not shoot there?) "Yes, there was that, but today there were many situations where we could break it down in a certain way, and we were trying to hold the ball, so I think we were a little cautious in some areas.
(In that situation, the goal seemed to show an example of "this is how to shoot", though, didn't it?)
(And the goal was an example of "this is how to shoot"?) "I was already aware that it was a shot, so I was like, 'Thank you for dropping it.
(Ayumu Ohata I think you went to get the ball rather quickly when the player seemed to be jammed with the ball, were you conscious of that?)
) "When I got to the sideback, I thought I would have to make an escape route to the side as well, so I had a good talk with (Ayumu) Ohata before the Trial started, and I was like, 'Please come there. But he said, 'I don't need a return,' so I thought I could handle it by myself, but I had to make good use of it.
(Normally, I had the impression that there were many situations where you had no choice but to return the ball to Marius Hoibraten player, but I think it was good for Ohata that he was able to go out to Yasui player and immediately attack from there again, wasn't it?)
I think that would be good for him to be able to move forward faster."
(I think you were able to show something like "the anchor of Kaito Yasui" with a different personality than before?)
I think so too. I think I can bring out my strength, and I can cover those areas defensively as well, so I'd like to bring out those areas more and more.
(When you carry the ball and when you give instructions to the Naoki Maeda players on the wings to move it, is that the kind of thing you Trial imagined today?)
(When you have the ball and the opponent doesn't come out, you can not only pass the ball, but you can also rush a little, and if (the opponent) squeezes more, I think I was able to alternate well, looking at where the side will be open.
(Did you feel that you often passed the ball in the narrow central area?)
(Did you get the impression that he often passed the ball in the narrow center of the field?
(You won back-to-back games for the first time this season in the previous game, and if you don't win at home today, that will fade away, so you ended up winning three games in a row.)
I am happy for the time being. I am happy, but I scored against Nagoya (Grampus) last time I started, and I played against (Kawasaki) Frontale (Trial) after that, but I was not a starter after that, so I can't let my guard down.
(A little later, you have Trial against the top group with FC Machida Zelvia and Vissel Kobe, but do you want to win there as well?)
I think we want to win there as well, and then Pos will be replaced, so we want to prepare well for all of them.
(The goal scene was a sharp shot from a grounder, which is one of your specialties, but I guess there is always a fear of a counter shot being rebounded.)
How do you clear that up? "To be honest, I don't think about that. I was only conscious that I was going to take the shot at that moment. I was just thinking about shooting it, and I didn't care if it bounced off the ball or not.
(Have you been practicing low trajectory shooting since you were a child?)
(Have you been practicing low trajectory shots since you were a child?) "I think you have to be able to kick any ball, and today it just happened to be that way, so it landed in a good spot.
