"I have decided to step down as manager of Urawa Reds at the end of this season.
It is a very difficult decision for me to leave this wonderful place that is Urawa Reds, but I felt that it was time to Pos my work and family, so I made this decision.
I have had many discussions with the club over the years regarding this decision, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sports Director Tsuchida and Technical Director Nishino for standing by me throughout the season and respecting this decision.
The club called Urawa Reds is shaped by wonderful people.
This is a club in which players, team staff, club staff, and fans and supporters all feel a special connection.
I have a lot of respect for this great club.
My future goal is to return to Urawa Reds as a manager again.
I will be handing over the baton from the previous manager, Ricardo (Rodriguez), to the next manager, but Urawa Reds is a great club with great staff and players, and passionate fans and supporters. I believe we can continue to achieve great results, and I am confident that the future of Urawa Reds is bright.
The season isn't over yet.
So for now, I won't say goodbye.
There are still many important Trial remaining and the fight continues.
Let's be determined to defend our third place in the J.League and fight together until the end in the ACL and Club World Cup."

"First of all, on behalf of the club, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Coach Maciej. Coach Maciej is not only an amazing manager, but also a great person, who has engaged seriously and sincerely with the club of Urawa Reds and all the people gathered there. The unanimous wish of the club was for such a wonderful manager to continue leading the team next season, but we are very disappointed that this will not be the case, and we are very sorry to everyone who had high hopes for him.
We will be entrusting the team, which has been developed by Maciej and Ricardo, to a manager who can be expected to further develop it, but as I have repeatedly said in the past, we recognize that the key to the growth process is to maintain the same direction, and this change of manager will in no way interrupt that continuity.
