"Signing ceremony for the partnership agreement regarding the establishment of an operating system for the Saitama Sports Schule Promotion Facility (tentative name)" held

We are pleased to announce that Urawa Reds, Reds Land General Incorporated Association, Saitama City, and Saitama Sports Commission General Incorporated Association (SSC) have concluded a "Collaboration Agreement Regarding the Establishment of an Operating System for the (Tentative Name) Saitama Sports Schule Promotion Facility."

On the 2nd, representative Makoto Taguchi, Mayor Hayato Shimizu, and SSC Representative Director Shuichi Endo attended the signing ceremony at Saitama City Hall and signed the agreement.

The purpose of this agreement is to ensure smooth preparations for the facility's opening to the public and to build a sustainable management system for the facility, which Saitama City is currently developing. It will serve as a framework for the four parties to work together to promote the project, inheriting and developing the achievements of each party in promoting sports, developing human resources, and collaborating with the local community.

At the signing ceremony, Mayor Shimizu said, "This facility will be developed as a base where citizens can enjoy sports throughout their lives and support the activities of athletes. We hope that by bringing together citizens, athletes, and a variety of other parties, it will become a place that promotes the development and exchange of sports." Furthermore, through this agreement, the city expressed its determination to work hard to consider demonstration projects and specific management methods while seamlessly continuing existing efforts, in order to realize the "development and inheritance of Saitama's sports culture into the future."

Next, SSC Representative Director Endo stated, "This agreement is the first step toward building a unified management system for the four parties," and expressed his hope that the facility will become a core facility for the three pillars of the sports promotion project: "developing sports talent," "creating a sustainable sports environment," and "creating and revitalizing sports business and sports industry." He also expressed his hope that the accumulation of people and information will also lead to the revitalization of the local economy.

In his speech, representative Taguchi, on behalf of Urawa Reds and Reds Land, expressed his gratitude for being able to conclude a partnership agreement with Saitama City and the Saitama Sports Commission, and his recognition that "this facility will serve as a hub that connects diverse entities as a sports base for 'doing, learning, and supporting.'" He also stated his intention to contribute not only to improving competitive ability but also to developing people and the community, based on the principles of the J.League's Centennial Vision, and to deepen cooperation with Reds Land's existing facilities to create an environment where everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy sports.

Urawa Reds and Reds Land will use this agreement as an opportunity to work together with all parties involved to spread the value of sports to the entire city and work to create a sustainable sports environment that is rooted in the local community.
