The 5th annual "Kono Yubi TomaREDS! REDS Santa" event will be held.

The club is spearheading the "Kono Yubi TomaREDS!" initiative, which aims to solve local issues by joining forces with the local community. One of the action programs, "REDS Santa," is celebrating its fifth year this year.

In November, we solicited donations of supplies from partner companies, RBC member companies, government agencies, and local organizations, and received support and encouragement from 25 companies and organizations, exceeding the number from last year.
In addition to daily necessities such as rice, vegetables and drinks, supplies were donated to the children's cafeteria, including Wi-Fi sticks, as well as sweets, stationery and toys as gifts for the children. In addition, the club donated Christmas cards, calendars and Reds merchandise.

In mid-December, members of Urawa Reds Supporters' Association, steward (volunteer) staff, and volunteer club staff came together to work together with the donated supplies to pack 1,500 bags as Christmas presents for children.

The supplies were then handed over to the representatives of children's cafeteria operators in each area of Saitama City, and were then delivered from each area to all 51 children's cafeterias in the city.

In addition to handing out donated supplies, this year club staff also visited several children's cafeterias and participated in an event where they handed out presents directly to the children.

On December 20th, we visited Saitama Children's Cafe in Midori Ward, Saitama City.
Many families at this children's cafeteria participated in the "Heartful Care" program held in October, and along with the presents, we received many words of gratitude for Heartful Care.

On December 23rd, he visited two children's cafeterias in Iwatsuki Ward with Urawa Reds' mascot, Redia.

Redia 's appearance on this day was a surprise for the children. Redia sudden appearance elicited cheers of surprise from the children. Redia handed out presents to each of the 29 children in attendance, who responded with many smiles and "Thank you!" There was also a rock-paper-scissors tournament and performances, and the venue was filled with laughter and cheers.

"Jionji Children's Cafeteria"
This was the second time they visited the Jionji Children's Cafeteria. The first time was a simple event, with only lunch boxes and presents distributed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but this time everyone ate together and Redia was able to interact with many children, making it a very meaningful experience and a chance to enjoy an early Christmas.

Thus, the fifth year of REDS Santa was successfully completed.
The thoughts of many companies, organizations, and local residents came together to form the "Kono Yubi TomaREDS! REDS Santa" circle, which provided encouragement, energy, and smiles to those working hard in the community, families facing challenges, and children.

"This will be the fifth year. Every year, the children ask me, 'Is Reds Santa coming again this year?' I really look forward to December. I've heard that this year too, the event will be filled with presents from many people. Thank you so much."

"Thank you very much for this valuable opportunity for the children. It was a very memorable event. I will never forget the look of surprise on the children's faces and the sparkle in their eyes when Redia made her surprise appearance! I would like to express my gratitude to Urawa Reds and everyone who has cooperated with this activity."

"Thanks to you, our Christmas party was a great success. A four-year-old boy who also participated in Heartful Care was so happy and delighted to meet Redia that he cried when they had to say goodbye. Thank you so much for the touching time that touched the hearts of these children."
