"Urawa Reds Plastic Bag Collection & Recycling Campaign!" to be held at the Kawasaki match on Saturday, (Sat) [Circular Economy Awareness Project]

Urawa Reds is working with Saitama Prefecture and Saitama Stadium 2002 to promote a "Circular Economy Awareness Project" that involves the collection and sorting of waste generated at the stadium, its recycling, and raising awareness of the environment.

As part of this initiative, we will be setting up a booth at the match against Kawasaki Frontale on (Sat) December 6th [MATCH PARTNER Mitsubishi Motors] to call for the collection and recycling of Urawa Reds related plastic bags distributed at Trial venue and elsewhere, as well as to demonstrate how the collected plastic bags can be recycled.

At the last match against Yokohama FC on Sunday, June 1st, approximately 2,300 plastic bags were collected from attendees. Urawa Reds will continue to collect plastic bags in the future.
The collected plastic bags are recycled into raw materials and reused in new products, with the aim of reducing disposable plastic and recycling resources.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Implementation details
(1) Urawa Reds Plastic Bag Collection & Recycling Campaign!
The plastic bags that Urawa Reds have been distributing at Trial venues (stadium distribution/official shop shopping bags/REX CLUB carrier bags, etc.) will be reused as much as possible, and used bags will be collected and recycled at the Circular Economy Booth. This is an initiative that aims to realize resource circulation (circular economy).
On the day, anyone who brings three or more bags will receive one Urawa Reds original paper bag (made from FSC-certified paper) per person.
Time 11:00-14:00
Location: South Gate SFP×SDGs booth

*Plastic bags are limited to those issued by Urawa Reds.
*We can accept plastic bags from one piece, but paper bags will only be given to those who bring three or more.
*Please note that only one paper bag will be provided per person.
*Please reuse the bags distributed on the day of Trial as they are valuable resources and help us sort them for collection after use.

(2) Exhibition: "How plastic bags are transformed into new products"
How are Urawa Reds plastic bags collected from you all reborn as recycled products and returned to you? We will be holding an exhibition to introduce this cycle.
Time 11:00-14:00
Location: South Gate SFP×SDGs booth
