Announcement of the "Welcome! Assistance Dogs" event to be held at the match against FC Tokyo (Sat)

We are pleased to announce that as part of Urawa Reds SDGs, we will be holding a assistance dog awareness event, "Welcome! Assistance Dogs," at the 17th round match of the 2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League against FC Tokyo (Sat) May 17th [MATCH PARTNER BizReach].

Assistance dogs are guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs that support people with disabilities, such as those with eyes, ears, or limbs, and are important partners that help people with disabilities become independent and participate in society. Pursuant to the Assistance Dogs for the Physically Disabled Act, they receive the necessary training, and their users participate in society while taking responsibility for managing the hygiene and behavior of their assistance dogs. Furthermore, facilities that accept them are obligated by law to accept assistance dogs.

Urawa Reds hopes to raise awareness of assistance dogs among as many people as possible and to work together to create a stadium and city filled with smiles. With this in mind, we will be holding an awareness event about assistance dogs with the cooperation of the Japan Guide Dog Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, and the new Japan Hearing Dog Promotion Association, a public interest incorporated association.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
