What is Goalball?
It is a parasport designed for people with visual impairments. Everyone plays while blindfolded with eyeshades, so it is a unique sport that does not rely on eyesight, but on hearing, touch, and teamwork to win or lose. Players roll a rubber ball weighing about 1.25 kg with a bell inside, relying only on the sound to defend their own side.
