On Tuesday, April 29th (national holiday), the "Urawa Reds Heartful Cup 18th Smile Soccer Tournament" was held at Reds Land.
This tournament is held once a year in collaboration with the Saitama Prefectural Disabled Sports Association, in order to achieve the club's philosophy of "contributing to the healthy development of young people" and "fostering a culture in which sports are a part of everyday life."

This year, the competition was divided into two categories: 5-a-side football (intellectual disability) and social football (mental disability), and a total of 22 teams (approximately 230 people) participated in a fierce battle.

Feeling the strong sunlight reminiscent of early summer and the occasional cool breeze, the players showed the results of their daily practice, calling out to each other, colliding fiercely, and aiming for victory. After the results were decided, refreshing greetings and handshakes were exchanged, and Trial continued with a lot of sportsmanship.







At the awards ceremony, the first to third place teams in each category were recognized, and the winning team was presented with a certificate and a trophy.
Thus, the 18th tournament ended safely without any major injuries.
