The match Okayama (Sat) will be "SPORTS FOR PEACE! DAY"

On March 8, 2014, a discriminatory banner was displayed at an Urawa Reds home game.
Taking this as a starting point, Urawa Reds have made a firm commitment to "ZERO TOLERANCE" against any and all discrimination, and have worked with our partner Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific to formulate an action program to eradicate discrimination. We have been working not only within the club, but also to gain the understanding and support of our fans and supporters.

Now, exactly 11 years later, on March 8th of this season, the 5th round of the 2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League will be played against Fagiano Okayama.
We have designated this day as "SPORTS FOR PEACE! DAY" with the aim of creating a stadium that is full of pride and unique to Urawa Reds, as well as a safe and comfortable stadium that can be enjoyed by everyone, from children to the elderly, and we would like to once again call on all fans and supporters to understand and participate in the "SPORTS FOR PEACE!" initiative.

"Sports is a fight, but there are rules."
The players put this into practice through their play. Fair play develops the minds of children.
The club aims to be "Reds Wonderland" and provide a safe, comfortable and extraordinary space.
The passionate support of fans and supporters, who follow rules, will deepen the bonds between teammates and lead the team to victory.

To create a stadium where people can feel a lot of happiness and be filled with pride, we need the support of all our fans and supporters.
We sincerely ask for the understanding and cooperation of as many people as possible.

About "SPORTS FOR PEACE!"
The "SPORTS FOR PEACE!" program, which Urawa Reds launched in November 2010 together with its partner Friends of the United Nations Asia-Pacific, was launched based on the recognition that sports is a very important means of instilling tolerance and mutual understanding among people. It was recognized by the then United Nations Department of Sport for Peace and Development (UNOSDP) as an activity that participates in and contributes to the UN program "SPORTS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE."
