Cooperation Agreement with the Saitama Branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society
On July 20th, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony with the Saitama Prefecture branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society was held at Saitama Stadium, with branch chief Ohno Motohiro from the Red Cross and Urawa Reds Reds representative Makoto Taguchi in attendance.
This agreement was concluded with the aim of realizing Urawa Reds' philosophy of creating a rich local community through sports, further deepening ties with the Japanese Red Cross Society, whose mission is to protect human life, health and dignity, and contributing to the creation of a rich local community where people can live healthy lives.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Representative Taguchi and Branch Manager Ohno signed the cooperation agreement, after which both parties commented on the cooperation agreement.

I would like to express my deepest respect to everyone at Urawa Reds for their longstanding commitment to leading the Japanese soccer world as well as their dedication to community service activities.
The Red Cross has been cooperating with us in our activities such as securing blood donors, spreading first aid, and collecting donations to be delivered to disaster areas.
The prefecture is now facing two historic challenges at a turning point in time: the arrival of an aging society with a declining population and a very low birthrate, and a crisis response to the increasingly severe and frequent occurrence of natural disasters.
The Red Cross believes that it must fulfill its role in addressing these issues and live up to the trust and expectations of the people of the prefecture.
Urawa "Reds" and the Red Cross "Red Cross". I have great expectations that we will be able to face these challenges together, united in a red bond and united as tightly as a diamond.

[Representative Makoto Taguchi]
"We have cooperated in blood donation activities for some time, but we have gradually expanded the scope of our collaboration and cooperation to include blood donations at the stadium and acting as a donation window for the Noto Peninsula earthquake and the eastern Taiwan earthquake.
Urawa Red Diamonds is promoting social contribution activities centered on "Kono Yubi TomaREDS!" with the aim of becoming a club that is loved and trusted by the local community. Collaborating with Urawa Reds Red Cross, which is well known and contributes to these activities, will broaden the scope of these activities and increase their significance and value.
This agreement will truly realize the club's philosophy of "creating a rich community and society for future generations" and "healthy development of young people."
Through various collaborative activities, we hope to continue to raise awareness and knowledge of disaster prevention and relief efforts in the region, and work together to make Saitama a disaster-resilient prefecture."

Afterwards, Branch Chief Ohno presented a letter of appointment and placed a sash on Redia, who will now be the Red Cross Goodwill Ambassador.

Finally, a commemorative photo was taken with the mascots, and the signing ceremony with the Saitama Prefecture branch of the Japanese Red Cross Society came to a close.
