Shibato, Ogiwara, and Komori participated in the "REDS Blood Donation Event 2025 Autumn"
On the 15th, Kai Shibato, Takuya Ogiwara, and Hiiro Komori participated in the "REDS Blood Donation Event 2025 Autumn," a collaborative event with the Red Cross Blood Center, held at AEON Mall Kawaguchi. The event was held with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of blood donation and deepening understanding of blood donation among many people.

The blood donation event was held in two parts. In the first part, former Urawa Reds player Takuya Nagata was the MC, and freestyle footballer Ibuki Yoshida performed. Afterwards, a blood donation quiz was held with the blood donation promotion character "Kenketsu-chan" and the official Urawa Reds mascot "Redia", which drew a lively crowd.

In the second part, a talk show was held with Shibato, Ogiwara and Komori. During the talk show, quizzes were given on blood donations, such as "How many people in Saitama prefecture need blood donations per day?" and "What is the most common blood type in Japan?" The answers of the athletes drew enthusiastic reactions from the audience, creating a great atmosphere in the venue.

When the audience was asked to give their answers to a quiz asking "What is the most common blood type in Japan?", the most common answer was indeed type A, demonstrating that type A is the most common blood type in Japan.
Afterwards, there was a Q&A session with the MC and the audience, where various questions were asked, such as "When did you start playing soccer?" and "What is the relationship between the three of you in your private lives?" Each member answered carefully, interspersing their own anecdotes, and the audience was thrilled.

Finally, a raffle was held for those who donated blood that day, and when the winners were announced, the venue erupted in cheers and excitement. The three players personally handed out autographed goods to the winners, deepening their connection with them.

Afterwards, a high-five session was held with the 500 spectators who had gathered at the venue, and the event came to a close in great success.

"Urawa Red Diamonds contributed greatly to the REDS Blood Donation Campaign 2025 Autumn, including the creation of blood donation awareness posters by their players, appeals for blood donations ahead of the winter season when the number of blood donors is low, and appearances and cooperation at events to help raise awareness of blood donation.
We believe that this event was an opportunity to convey the importance of blood donation to many people and provide them with the motivation to take the first step to donate blood.
We ask for your continued cooperation in donating blood so that we can provide a stable supply of blood to patients in need at medical institutions."

"I felt that this event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with many people through blood donation. I would be happy if we could join hands and expand the circle of people who support lives.
I myself didn't know much about blood donation, so I was able to learn by actually listening to the talk, which was very educational.
Also, a lot of people came to the event, and when we did the high-five, I received a lot of warm words like, "We're rooting for you." I was reminded once again of the support that everyone has, and I wanted to respond to those voices in the best way possible.
I hope that through these activities, more people will learn about Urawa Reds and come to the stadium."
[Takuya Ogiwara]
"I have never donated blood before, but this event has made me very interested. I hope that this opportunity will help everyone who came today take even a small step towards saving someone's life.
I believe that welfare activities and social contribution activities like this are important for both us players and the local community. I would be very happy if I could be of some help in this. Even though we are in the final stages of the season and are not performing as well as we would like, I am truly grateful that so many people came out to see us, and it has given me a renewed sense of motivation to do my best."

I would be happy if these events could help as many people as possible to understand the importance of blood donation, and I would like to continue to be actively involved in activities that can help the local community and society."
