Trial-match comments

Mihailo Petrovic

(Head Coach)

"We made a lot of mistakes in the first half, and I think it was the worst first half we've had in recent Trial. With that many mistakes, it wouldn't have been surprising if we'd conceded two or three goals. However, Kawasaki's quality after they stole the ball was not good either. They didn't allow any goals from there, and the first half ended 0-0.

In the second half, the team managed to recover relatively well and was able to control the game. As for Trial, we were leading three times, but were caught up in close calls, and we ended up losing on penalties. Penalties can end up being the winner either way. It's unfortunate that we couldn't win despite leading three times."

Opponent team comment

Yahiro Kazama

(Head Coach)

"We had several goals today. Of course, winning Trial was one of them, but one was to see whether our young players would be able to confidently use their skills against a stronger opponent. I thought that this experience would be useful for the future, so I pushed them and used them. I think they did a great job.

Also, (Jung) Sung-ryong hadn't played for a while, so I would have been willing to rest him if possible, but I wanted to let him Trial at least once, so I used him, and just as I expected, Sung-ryong saved the penalty kick and I think he performed extremely well.

Also, including the younger players, we focused on making sure we had possession of the ball, even against that opponent, and not letting them take it away from us, and I think they did that with a lot of confidence.

From now on, the team members will gradually gather, but if the players who have played up until now show the same performance as today, I don't know who will play. I hope that they will continue to train and hone their skills, even though this is the last game.
