Post-match comments
Per-Mathias Hoegmo
(Manager)
- "I think we had our ups and downs in the first half. Then Thiago (Santana) scored a great goal, and we were able to take a 1-0 lead. But the way we conceded the two goals in the second half was not good. For the first goal, we weren't able to catch the player who took the shot. For the second goal, we lost the ball at the far side. After that, we were able to launch attacks and create chances, but I expected more from the team."
Opponent team comment
Peter Cklamovski
(Manager)
- "I think it was an exciting game of football. I think it was a match in which two good teams gave it their all. I think we showed a very strong team performance. I don't think we deserved to be down 0-1 at halftime. We played some good football in the first half and there were some parts where we had goals cancelled out, and Urawa scored in the way that they did.
I think this is football, and I think we were able to turn the game around because of the characters of the players and their belief in their own football. The important thing is that we believed in football and our teammates, fought with conviction, and played our own football.
We followed our own rules well, scored a goal, and sent our supporters home with smiles on their faces. I'm very happy about that."
