What is "Momotaro Dentetsu"?
This board game series has been enjoyed by a wide range of generations for over 37 years since its release in 1988. Players become the presidents of railroad companies, traveling around the world to buy properties, and the player with the most assets at the end of the set number of years wins.
The previous title, "Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa – Still a Classic!", has sold over 4 million copies, and "Momotaro Dentetsu World: The Earth Revolves Around Hope!", which is set in a global setting, has also been a hit, selling over 1.5 million copies. In November 2025, the latest installment, "Momotaro Dentetsu 2: Your Town Surely Exists Too," the largest in the series' history, was released.
