On Friday, February 27th, Urawa Reds was officially certified as a "Saitama City SDGs Certified Company" at the "2025 Saitama City SDGs Company Certification Ceremony" held in Saitama City. At the ceremony, Vice President Shimizu Minoru represented Urawa Reds and was presented with the certificate by Saitama Mayor Hayato Shimizu.



The Saitama City SDGs Corporate Certification is a system in which Saitama City certifies companies within the city that respect the principles of the SDGs and promote business activities that are conscious of the three areas of economy, society, and environment as "SDGs Certified Companies." Companies that meet certain standards based on a checklist established by Saitama City are awarded the certification after a third-party review committee.

Urawa Reds have been promoting efforts to achieve the SDGs to fulfill their social responsibility as a J.League club that is deeply involved with the local community through football. These ongoing activities have been recognized, and the club will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through further promotion of the "Urawa Reds SDGs."
