We are pleased to announce that Urawa Reds have established a cooperative relationship with Dr. Kentaro Takeda, Director of the Sports Medicine Center at Saitama City Hospital (2460 Mimuro, Midori-ku, Saitama City), and will be working to improve the club's medical system.

This collaborative relationship aims to strengthen the medical system for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Urawa Reds Ladies and its academy development team, enabling injured female athletes and athletes in the development stage to receive comprehensive support, centered around the hospital, at every stage of their recovery, including outpatient care, examinations, surgery, hospitalization, and rehabilitation. This medical system will enable centralized management of the entire process from injury to recovery, and will also consider providing injury prevention, recurrence prevention, and growth support utilizing the medical equipment and various measuring devices unique to a general hospital. Furthermore, "organized medical care" by multiple physicians from various fields will enhance the continuity and stability of medical care, and a multifaceted support system will be built utilizing the capabilities of a general hospital, including not only orthopedics and rehabilitation, but also various internal medicine departments, gynecology, ophthalmology, and dental and oral surgery.

By establishing this cooperative relationship, Urawa Reds, as a professional sports club rooted in the local community, believes it can provide Saitama City (the region) with a "place for training sports medical personnel." By responding to a variety of injuries sustained by athletes and gaining clinical experience, the club will be able to increase its knowledge of local sports medical care, ultimately contributing to improving the quality of sports medical care in Saitama City. Urawa Reds will advance the comprehensive agreement concluded with Saitama City, and will contribute to the local community by viewing this cooperative relationship as a place for comprehensive health and personnel training that connects sports, medical care, and Saitama City (the region).
