Reds Land "Sakura Ward Music Festival & Fireworks Festival 2025" to be held

The third annual Redsland Sakura Ward Music Concert and Fireworks Festival was held on October 19th. There were concerns that the event would not be able to go ahead due to light rain during the day, but the rain cleared by the evening, and around 400 local residents were able to enjoy the music and fireworks.

The Sakura Ward Music Festival & Fireworks Festival 2025 is co-sponsored by Reds Land General Incorporated Association, Urawa Reds Supporters Association, and the Okubo District Branch of the Saitama Citizens' Council for Youth Development.
At the opening ceremony, Chairman Dobashi of the Okubo District Branch of the Saitama Citizens' Council for Youth Development, one of the organizing groups, gave a speech saying, "This is an event planned by the Reds and the local community together, so let's all enjoy the music and fireworks together."

The first group to perform was the Sakura Music Group, which participated for the second year in a row. Comprised of members of a wide range of ages, from elementary school students to adults, they practice once a month at a facility in Sakura Ward. Everyone in the audience was excited and moving along to the familiar songs they performed, which appealed to all generations.

There were also elementary school students in the group, and the atmosphere was very friendly.

We spoke to a family living nearby who had been waiting on a picnic blanket before the event began. They told us, "We've come three years in a row. This year, our friend's children are performing in the brass band and cheerleading, so we were looking forward to it." They listened intently to the performances.

The second act was the Saitama Municipal Kamiokubo Junior High School Brass Band, who participated for the first time this year. They played songs that were popular on social media this year and anime theme songs, typical of junior high school students. The band members danced and led the audience in applause, making it a great way to get the crowd excited.

He also entertained the audience with his colorful shirts and sunglasses.

The third group was the Reds Land Sports Club Cheer Dance School, who participated for the third year in a row. They performed an adorable routine to popular idol songs and songs familiar to both adults and children.

From kindergarteners to junior high school students, they start with no experience and practice at elementary schools.

The final performance was by the Saitama Municipal Doai Junior High School marching band. Despite having to set up tents due to rain before the performance, they delivered a powerful performance of recent hits and classic songs.

The teacher in charge of the group commented, "We often perform indoors, so the opportunity to perform outdoors like this in front of a wide audience was very valuable, and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves."

The food truck next to the court was bustling with people and stocked popular delicacies such as hamburgers and frankfurters that are also sold at the stadium.

After enjoying the music for two hours, the fun part began with the fireworks display. Some people lay down on the grass field, while junior high school students chatted with friends while waiting for the fireworks to start. Everyone was fully prepared for the fireworks in their own way.

Finally, the fireworks began. Voices of "Wow, they're so beautiful!" and "Amazing! They look like butterflies" were heard from all around.

"It's great to be able to enjoy the fireworks right in front of you in such a relaxed atmosphere!" said a father with his family, looking very happy.

The 200 fireworks that lit up the night sky were planned using the Nurture Partner Fund, which was sponsored by 24 Reds Land Nurture Partner companies.
This year, thanks to the cooperation of the Okubo District Chapter of the Saitama Citizens' Council for Youth Development, Urawa Reds Supporters' Association Stewards (sports volunteers), and the volunteers from Reds Land Sports Club, people were able to enjoy the fireworks at their leisure with their families and friends.

Members of the Okubo District Branch of the Saitama Citizens' Council for Youth Development livened up the event with loud applause.

At Reds Land, we hope to continue deepening our interactions with the local community as a field open to the local community and as a base for promoting health and building a community.
