Announcement of the "Learn More! Feel More! Disaster Prevention" event to be held at the Kobe match (Sat)
This event aims to provide an opportunity for participants to think about disaster prevention by learning about what they can do if a disaster occurs, and experiencing the work of a firefighter, Self-Defense Forces member, or disaster rescue dog handler, who protect our precious lives and our towns.
Let's start by doing what we can now to create a sustainable city that is resilient to disasters!

(1) Fire engine display and firefighting uniform experience
Get on board a bright red fire engine and experience being a firefighter! You can also take a commemorative photo wearing a firefighter's fireproof uniform.

Fire pump truck with water tank (commonly known as tank car)

This fire truck carries approximately 1,500 liters of water and can quickly dispense water to extinguish a fire.
救助工作車(2台)

It is designed to be able to be loaded onto the Self-Defense Forces' transport aircraft. Normally, two vehicles are deployed in pairs.
小型救助車

This vehicle is highly maneuverable and can transport personnel and equipment to disaster sites that are inaccessible to larger vehicles.
(2) Fire extinguishing experience using a water extinguisher

Using a training water fire extinguisher, aim at a target that resembles a ball and shoot it into the goal!

You can experience the dangers of smoke during a fire and how to evacuate.

(4) Saitama City Fire Department Band Special Concert

The Saitama City Fire Department Band serves as a "sound bridge connecting citizens and the fire department," and aims to widely publicize fire administration through its performances, raise citizens' awareness of fire prevention and disaster prevention, and deepen their familiarity and understanding of the fire department.

(1) Self-Defense Force vehicle exhibition and camouflage uniform experience
The Self-Defense Forces vehicles that are deployed in emergencies such as disasters will be on display. You can also experience riding in some of them and take commemorative photos wearing camouflage uniforms.

They respond to requests for assistance from local governments during large-scale disasters and are dispatched as "disaster relief vehicles." They are also called "Ambi," an abbreviation of "ambulance," which means ambulance.

During the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, this truck was the only one that remained operational while other Self-Defense Force vehicles were rendered inoperable one after another after being submerged by the tsunami.

There are seven taps, which are used to transport water for activities outside the garrison. They are also used for disaster relief missions.
軽装甲機動車

Commonly known as the "LAV," this vehicle is covered in iron armor and can be moved around while being protected from enemy attacks. It is mainly used on the front lines of the battlefield, driving and monitoring the surrounding area.
Motorcycle (for reconnaissance)

Used for reconnaissance and liaison purposes. It is the smallest equipment among the Self-Defense Forces vehicles and can be transported by being mounted on a helicopter or a reconnaissance rubber boat.

What are disaster rescue dogs?
These dogs are specially trained to search for and rescue survivors in the event of a disaster. They use their excellent sense of smell and abilities to help find missing people and victims among rubble and collapsed buildings.
Two Japanese team champion dogs, who won first place at the 2025 FCI Disaster Rescue Dog Team World Championship held in Turkey in June this year, will also be in attendance. Come and meet Japan's disaster rescue dogs, who have the world's most outstanding abilities!

She lives in Urawa Ward, Saitama City. She is a dual-wielding police dog and disaster rescue dog. Her efforts to protect the safety of Urawa are as impenetrable as those of Nishikawa, Marius, and Boza.

"Disaster Rescue Dog Handler" Job Experience Application Guidelines
In this program, participants will receive direct instruction from a disaster rescue dog handler and actually experience training with a disaster rescue dog. Upon completion of the program, participants will be appointed as a one-day disaster rescue dog handler by Urawa Reds and will receive a certificate of completion.

Anyone aged 5 or over (adults and wheelchair users can also apply)
People who are not afraid of large dogs, can talk to dogs in a cheerful voice, and are not allergic to dogs
*Applications are limited to those who have tickets for the Trial.
*REX CLUB membership registration (including WHITE membership, which has no annual fee) is required (for children, parental registration is sufficient).
