PARTNER STORY

All the partners who support Urawa Reds in various ways.
We will talk about the history of the partners and the Reds behind it, as well as their passion.

Pia was born in 1972. At that time, the word "information magazine" that we take for granted today did not even exist. It started with the launch of the magazine "Pia".

The word "pia" has the meaning of meaningless. Without being bound by the image of existing words, it was named with the idea that "I want readers to have a specific meaning and image for the first time when it becomes a magazine that will be accepted by many people in the future." . That feeling has been inherited even now, when the form has changed from a magazine to an app.

The feelings that have remained unchanged since the time when Pia was founded in Nakano Sakaue's cheap apartment, and still run at the root of the people who work at Pia now that it has become one of Japan's largest entertainment business companies. That is, "Play" is the origin of all imagination. Lifelines in the 20th century, which was the era of "things," were for life support such as electricity, gas, and water. Pia believes that the lifeline of the 21st century, the era of "mind", must be an infrastructure that supports the richness of the heart, making everyday life lively and inspiring. We want to support each person's lively life in the 21st century by building a "lifeline of excitement". That is Pia's dream and mission.

"Each and every person is vibrant." Pia's philosophy overlaps with Urawa Reds' "Reds Wonderland." The stadium is filled with smiles from children to the elderly, and is an extraordinary space that makes you feel excited just by being there, called "Reds Wonderland." Pia is a partner of Urawa Reds, with the belief that delivering that excitement to as many fans and supporters as possible will lead to the realization of a "lifeline of excitement."

Pia and Urawa Reds have a long history as partners. Even before the J League began in 1993, they have been working mainly on ticket sales through "Ticket Pia," which was established in April 1984. They have created various services together, including the Hometown Lottery Advance Sales, and they believe that tickets are a "bridge" that connects Urawa Reds Urawa Reds."

In 2020, the entertainment industry is in crisis due to the impact of the new coronavirus. The J-League was also forced to suspend play for about four months from late February. It resumed in early July, and after Trial without spectators, Trial with spectators have begun to be played, but as of late August, the "super strict alert" state of affairs remains, with spectators limited to 5,000 people or less. No one knows what the future holds, as the restrictions on the number of spectators, which were originally supposed to be lifted on August 1, have been extended.

In the midst of this crisis, Pia, which has served for many years as a bridge connecting various genres of entertainment with customers, is thinking every day about ways to protect entertainment, including not only organizers but also venues, artists, players, and staff. One of these is the [Entertainment Supporter Ticket]. Urawa Reds released the [Entertainment Supporter Ticket] Let's send our thoughts to Urawa Reds!, and we received support from many people.

Pia's desire to serve as a bridge between entertainment and customers and create a "lifeline of excitement" means that it cares not only about the Urawa Reds club, but also about its fans and supporters.

"The situation remains extremely difficult in terms of watching games at the stadium, but Pia's mission is to provide various support so that fans and supporters can enjoy Trial with peace of mind. The style of watching Trial may change significantly in the future, including infection prevention measures, but we want to overcome this situation at all costs and aim to create a stadium where people can experience even more of the excitement and thrill that only Urawa Reds can offer. Let's work hard together for the further development and success of Urawa Reds!"

The bridge between the club, the fans and supporters. Without any of these, the professional sport and entertainment of soccer would not exist. I have no doubt that Pia will continue to provide a great force for Urawa Reds and their fans and supporters to join hands.
