Tatsuya Tanaka (Head Coach): "I think we were able to execute our plan from the start Trial. In the first half, ideally, I would have liked to score a goal. In the second half, we scored one goal from a set piece, and then the substitute players added another, so as a team, we decided to sit back to some extent, and since we know that's Kawasaki's strength, we kept telling the players to stay compact. In the end, I'm glad we were able to win 2-0."

Opponent team comment

Shigetoshi Hasebe (Head Coach): "In the first half, we weren't able to really show our style and attitude, but on the other hand, the fact that we defended tenaciously during that time was good in the sense that we 'didn't concede goals easily' recently. I see it in two ways."

However, as I mentioned earlier, there were times in the first half when we weren't able to showcase our own style, so I'd like to talk to the players from two different perspectives and work towards playing a style of football that is more true to ourselves. In short, the first half wasn't very good.

In the second half, we conceded a goal, and after that, we wanted to be more proactive in attacking, moving the ball around and getting closer to the goal, getting into the penalty area, but I think the opponent was better, and there were aspects where we weren't very good."
