Trial-match comments
Maciej Skorza
(Head Coach)
- "Overall, I think we played a good game today. Particularly in the first half, I think the players executed what we wanted to do tactically. We scored a goal after some very good play, which I think was also as we aimed.
However, in the second half, we gave the opponent more space. Our pressing was a little less intense than in the first half. But we played good defense throughout Trial. And even when the opponent had more possession of the ball, we were able to create some scoring opportunities towards the end of Trial. For example, when Tomo (Tomoaki Okubo) had a chance, I hope he can finish it calmly at the end.
"We were expecting a tough game against a team that was playing very well today, and had only conceded one goal this season, a penalty kick. I'd like to thank the fans and supporters for making our away game in Japan feel like a home game."
Opponent team comment
Takayuki Yoshida
(Head Coach)
- “I feel sorry for the supporters for the loss at home. Regarding the first half, I think the opponents were quicker than us in terms of their usual alertness. I told them to think again about what they were able to do in the second half. It would have been nice if we could have caught up, but we were one step behind because we are still immature, and I would like to use this defeat as the next one.”
