Trial-match comments
Mihailo Petrovic
(Head Coach)
- "Trial Trial which eight goals are scored is Trial in which I believe it would have been enjoyed by everyone who came to the stadium to watch, and by the supporters watching in front of the TV. Today's Trial showed our strengths, but I still think there are areas where we need to be better. All six goals today were scored by different players, but I think that shows how well the team is functioning. I believe it shows the quality of the team.
We knew that the opposing team used a lot of long balls and played special football. After making it 2-0, they made it 2-1, and after making it 3-1, they immediately allowed a goal to make it 3-2. If you're a team like Urawa Reds, you shouldn't allow goals like that.
Of course, it wasn't easy for the players. Most of the opponent's attacks were floating balls, and throw-ins were the same as corner kicks, so it's not easy to deal with those kinds of attacks. However, we need to fight better against teams that play like that, and I think we need to improve, especially in terms of picking up second balls.
I think our attacks from the sides were particularly good today. Up until now, attacks from the sides hadn't been very effective, but after spreading out to the sides, we made improvements in one-on-one situations, the accuracy of our crosses, and the players' entry into the middle.
Although we won today, there are things we need to improve on and we need to work hard in training. It is especially when we win that we must not forget to work hard."
Opponent team comment
Yoon Chung-hwan
(Head Coach)
- "With the series of Trial continuing, some players who had not played much in the previous match were named to the starting lineup. It is unfortunate that the result turned out this way. Despite this, many people came to support us, so I would like to express my gratitude, but at the same time, I feel sorry. The players are trying to show their best, and although the points difference was large, I think we should take it in a positive way and continue doing our best."
