- "It was a very difficult game because Shonan had nothing to lose against us. It was our fifth Trial in two weeks, so I think it was a tough Trial for the players. We were on an away trip for the ACL (AFC Champions League), and even in that environment, the players ran really well. The score was 2-0, but it might have been Trial in which we could have scored four or five goals. I'm pleased that the players showed a professional Trial and were determined to win despite this busy schedule."

- "Thank you for your hard work. Even though we are in the Kanto region, it is a little far from Shonan, and I feel sorry that we couldn't deliver the three points to all the people who came all the way here.
In terms of Trial, we knew from watching many Trial that Urawa had the ability to move the ball. In response, we didn't lower our defensive line below the penalty area, and tried to keep the field compact and play both offense and defense. We often ended up defending by returning to our own half. In the second half, we wanted to fight by keeping the ball higher, but in the end, we were down 0-2 and the other team closed out the game.
The players are working hard, but I feel that we still lack strength. However, I think that we have no choice but to keep improving while feeling that every day. Since we didn't win today, the worst thing would be to have nothing left over from playing according to the players' abilities, so I think we need to talk to the players and organize our good and bad points.
There are many things to learn from the team that Coach Petrovic has made. We played a practice Trial a little over a year ago, and this was Trial since then, but we want to show that we have grown even more when we play at home in Hiratsuka."
