Trial-match comments
Maciej Skorza
(Head Coach)
- "It was a very disappointing result for us. We were so close to getting three points, but we only managed to get one. However, looking at the way the players played and how hard they worked, I think there were some positives for the upcoming Trial.
We lost concentration in Zone 1 at a crucial time, and football taught us a very cruel reality today.
The first half was a bit of a close match, but in the second half we were able to open up the game more and made some plays that were worthy of scoring. I think our players showed plays that were worthy of more than just one point.
The players showed good attitude today, team spirit, teamwork, and high-intensity play. The area for improvement is the start of the game. Today, we didn't start as well as we hoped. In the locker room, we've been talking about creating a DNA that allows us to play aggressively with high intensity, and with that in mind, I'm fairly satisfied with the content of Trial.
Opponent team comment
Rikizo Matsuhashi
(Head Coach)
- "We went against the flow of the previous match, catching up at the end and getting two points, which I think is something to be very praised about.
We had a really good tempo in the early stages of the first half, but we were too caught up in the final quality and shape in the last third of the game, and we struggled to get our first shot on goal, which was a real shame.
In the second half, the momentum gradually shifted in the Reds' favor, but I think we hesitated a bit in our approach at key moments. They picked up the second ball from there, and it was disappointing that it ended up going in despite us being in the blocking position. Naturally, we were able to express some of the preparations we had made in this Trial, but I think we need to improve the quality and the relationship between us."
