- 'First of all, I want to thank Kyoto Sanga F.C. for the great fight today. I think the first half was not bad. In the second half, the quality was a little bit uneven, but we still managed to create some great chances. I think we had a lot of chances to enter the Kyoto penalty area.
I am proud of and grateful for the work of the medical staff these days. Taka (Takahiro Sekine), Tomo (Tomoaki Okubo), and Matsuo (Yusuke) were able to join the team. Although there were a few time restrictions, they were ready to take the pitch. It was a pity that Samuel (Gustafsson), who had been doing well in the build-up to that point, had to be replaced after 25 minutes.
In the second half, we made various substitutions. The quality of the team may have decreased, but I think they fought well. I think the man of the match today was the right center back Rikito Inoue. I think he was great both in defense and in his handling of the ball in attack.
As I said earlier in the locker room in front of the players, tomorrow morning (Ayumu) Ohata will leave for Paris. I look forward to seeing him fight on behalf of Japan.
Of course we could have won Trial but it was our third clean sheet in the last 4 Trial. We will have a good week of practice for the Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo match before the summer break."

- "Today's Trial was held in the middle of the Gion Festival, and it seemed like Kyoto City was not just home to people who live in Kyoto, but people from all over the world. We had the largest crowd in the history of Sanga Stadium by KYOCERA, and we are grateful that they turned their attention to soccer, especially at a time like this.
It was a shame that we were so determined to beat Urawa, but after Trial Trial months ago, we were able to bounce back and play to the best of our ability. Newcomers Takuji Yonemoto and Rafael Elias also did a great job. We have some injured players, but we have a clear path ahead of us, with over 10 Trial to go, and if either of them had scored two goals with goal cover, we could have gotten three points. It sounds like they're saying that four consecutive wins, including the Emperor's Cup, is not going to be easy, considering they've only lost once in these 10 Trial.
Our next game is against Jubilo Iwata Iwata away from home, and we have never won against them since we were in J2, so we need to fix that and get back to work. The other team also had Ohata (Ayumu), but Kawasaki Sota did a good job today and will be heading off to Paris. On the one hand, we will do our best as the Japanese national team, and on the other hand, as Sanga, we will work hard to become stronger with the remaining players.
Although we ended up with only one point today, the atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic, and the players responded to Trial with great energy, so I think it was Trial very high-level show."
