Maciej Skorza (Head Coach): "I think the team did a great job again today. Before Trial, I told the players to treat these 90 minutes as the most important of their football careers and play as such. I think they did a really good job. They maintained tactical discipline and physically fought at 100 percent.

It was really wonderful to hear the cheers of our fans and supporters throughout Trial. They fought alongside the team and gave us their support today. I think that was also a factor in our victory."

Nicolas Larcamon (Head Coach): "It wasn't a case of which side had the advantage, but there was a sending off and the other team had more chances to score.

I was able to come here thanks to winning the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Football) Champions League 2023, so I would like to make the most of this experience and use the lessons I learned to work hard and prepare for the next FIFA Club World Cup.

We had some great chances, so it's unfortunate that we couldn't score. It was a tough Trial. Playing against the continental champions is demanding, and we had Trial be very careful, and they didn't have many chances, but we were careless at times, and that led to our defeat.

I'm also dissatisfied with the way we lost. We weren't able to show our usual style of football. It's a big challenge to play against a team like this. We all worked hard together for this Trial, and I think we were well prepared to move on, but from now on, even though I'm feeling a bit of pain, I want to make the most of the break.

It's been a tough year, with many challenges. We've participated in many tournaments and now we have a break, but I hope the players can clear their heads and the pain from today will fade, even though it will remain for a long time. I think the break is necessary, but after that we will start preparing for next season.

(To the fans and supporters) This is a very disappointing result. You, us, and the whole city are feeling hopeful, and we have been preparing to take on the challenge in the best possible way. This was a chance to show Leon at a world class level, and as time passes, this will become a fond memory. However, today we fought in this wonderful environment to advance to the semi-finals, and we are disappointed that we were unable to do so.

Those who keep up to date with the reality of soccer know that Japanese soccer has grown significantly even at the national team level. Today, we played against a great club and were able to see just how high the level of Japan is."
