- "I think we were able to control Trial after about the five minute mark. Including the moment that led to the penalty kick, I think we were playing relatively well up until around the 30th minute. After that good period, we conceded a goal in a similar way to the (YBC Levain Cup) final. I don't think it was a very good concede for us. We practiced and prepared to not let it happen again, but it happened again today. After conceding this goal, we were unable to show the same performance we had shown for the first 30 minutes. In the second half, I wanted to make more attempts to get behind the opponents from the left wing, so I replaced (Koizumi) Kaho and put (Akimoto) Takahiro up front.
The second goal was also a simple mistake. We have been trying to avoid such mistakes this season by controlling the penalty area well, but they started to come out in the final stages. Of course, Avispa Fukuoka is a very organized and physically strong opponent. We were struggling and then we conceded the third goal, which made things pretty dire for us. After that, we switched to a two-man attack and played as aggressively as possible. But we only managed to score one goal.
It is very disappointing that we ended up with such a result in our final home match of the league. We have worked hard so far this season, but we are saddened to have lost out in our final home match. The condition of the players who have returned from injury will likely improve, so I think we will be in better shape for our next match against Wuhan Sanzhen. After the match against Wuhan, we will fight to get third place in the league. After today's result, we cannot achieve it on our own, but we will fight hard."

- “We were behind, but we recovered a little and were able to do what we wanted after halftime. However, in terms of shots, we were hit a lot in the 90 minutes. However, we still have a lot of issues to solve and things we are lacking, but today we can say that we did reasonably well against Urawa at this stadium, and in terms of results, we were able to get 3 points. It was very good and I feel like we are growing.”
