Maciej Skorza (Head Coach): "I think we got off to a good start in the first half, and we were playing well. We made some adjustments in the second half, but the quality of our opponents was so high that we were dominated. Hiroshima were superior to the Reds in every aspect in the second half, physically, tactically, and in one-on-one situations. Also, the attacking players on the bench were very powerful.

"We weren't able to maintain the intensity we showed in the first half for the full 90 minutes. Trial draw was probably the best we could have hoped for today. We took some risks in added time, but we took too many risks and that led to us conceding a goal."

Michael Skibbe (Head Coach): "I am very satisfied with the team's performance today. I am also very happy that we won with a goal at the very end, and I believe we deserved to Trial today.

If it weren't for Shionoya's goal-line clearance during the flow of the game, we may have lost Trial."
