Trial-match comments
Maciej Skorza
(Head Coach)
- "Before Trial, we knew it would be a difficult Trial. We made it even more difficult by conceding Trial early on, but even in such a difficult Trial, we maintained a winner's mentality, fought hard and never gave up, and were able to score.
After the 30th minute, we were no longer able to apply effective high pressure and were often set up in the middle zone. In that situation, Ken Iwao made a great decision to take a long shot, which led to a goal.
In the second half, we thought about our stamina and changed our approach to applying high pressure when we could, rather than always applying it. After we brought on Shinzo (Koroki) and Taka (Takahiro Sekine), we increased the number of times we applied high pressure again, and I think we were able to create more chances from that.
"The last 20 minutes were a defensive period to maintain this form, but I have a lot of respect for the players' hard work there. After three Trial without a win, we were able to win two in a row, so the momentum leading up to the summer break is brighter."
Opponent team comment
Kenta Kawai
(Head Coach)
- ``I am sorry that we were not able to deliver three points with so many fans and supporters in attendance. We are currently on a good path, and I think what's important is what happens next. The players put in a really good performance, and I would like to use this as a good opportunity to move on."
