- "We started off really badly today. We conceded a goal early on and were unable to get into a rhythm after that. I think the whole team was nervous, and some players, like (Jose) Kante and (Hayakawa) Junpei, were starting for the first time, so we started the game without a common language on the pitch.
In the first half, I think we were able to keep the ball better than our opponents, but we weren't able to create any scoring opportunities. However, I think it was good that the very talented Junpei showed a good performance today and was able to score a goal.
We made five substitutions in the second half. We wanted to give Brian (Linssen), who is returning from illness, a chance to play in today's Trial. With the ACL (AFC Champions League) final coming up, we also wanted to check out some of our players in Trial. However, our main target was of course to get three points, so I don't want to use what I said earlier as an excuse. After Shonan substituted players in the second half, their performance improved and they created scoring opportunities. Among them, (Suzuki) Zion showed her high quality again today. We were only able to get one point, which is not enough to get through this group. We want to secure that in the two remaining Trial."

- "I thought we were in a good mood after scoring early on, but we were mostly busy on the defensive and things didn't go well in the first half. We made some adjustments at halftime, and in the second half we were able to make some adjustments to our style, going forward to steal the ball. We had some chances and were in trouble, so I think a draw is fair for Trial."
