- "It was a very difficult Trial for us. We had to work extremely hard to get this one point. I think we maintained good tactical discipline in the first half, but we wanted to apply more high pressure. However, when playing against a team like Nagoya, you have to be careful of balls to the back. Nagoya is good at that type of play. I think we were wary of that and showed too much respect for our opponents in the first half.
I think we started the second half well, but after the 60th minute, things got a little chaotic. So we brought in fresh players to try to keep things in order. I think we created two very good scoring opportunities in the second half. However, we couldn't finish them off, and as a result, we couldn't win the Trial. All the Reds players fought well, worked hard, and did a good job. I believe that each of them gave it their all.
We came here today to get three points, so I think the result was disappointing. The opponent was a very good team, so I think we can respect them. It's disappointing that we drew against Nagoya, but I want to respect that as well. We will prepare for the next match, but I hope that Hiroki Sakai's injury, which comes two weeks before the very important Trial of the ACL (AFC Champions League 2022) final, is not serious.
