- "I think we were able to dominate Trial and make some dangerous plays against our opponents. However, playing against a team with solid defense like Nagoya, who sometimes dropped back with five or more players in their defensive line, and who are one of the clubs in the league that concedes few goals, so in that sense it wasn't easy.
However, I think we created some chances. Sekine (Takahiro) and Esaka (Nin) had some chances. Unfortunately, the goal from a set piece was cancelled, but I think we created some close calls.
Looking at the game as a whole, I think we were a little better. However, of course, the other team had their chances, such as their mid-range shots and the shot by Matthäus that was saved by Nishikawa (Shusaku). However, I think the performance of the players throughout Trial and their fighting spirit were very good. The only thing that was lacking in this Trial was goals."

- "Both myself and the other players were in such a difficult situation that we had no choice but to use all our remaining energy in Trial. I think Trial Trial very difficult.
We had a limited number of players, and we had Nagasawa (Kazuteru) who was suspended, and Nakatani (Shinnosuke) played well today, but in fact, there was a question of whether they would be in condition to Trial until the very last moment. However, everyone around them supported them, and I think they were able to show the Grampus style of fighting to the end with their teamwork.
Including today's Trial, this team has been working continuously for the past year, and even the past two years, and now that the season has ended, we can look back and evaluate it, and I think it was a really good two years of spending and working hard. I keep saying this, but the Grampus team has come close to winning a title for the first time in a long time, and I think that the year we had was the result of each of us asking ourselves to make the team the most important thing in our minds, and that this has borne fruit.
We made it to all the tournaments we participated in, and even won. I think we ended up in the top half of the league, not in the middle, so looking back on the season, I think it was a really good one."
