- "I think we started well. We made many inroads into the opponent's goal, and then (Nin) Esaka took a shot, and then we had a goal-scoring opportunity. (Takahiro) Sekine received a good pass while we were breaking down the defense and scored a goal after the shot had rebounded. However, from there, we struggled to break down the defense from our front line, and there were times when we got the ball and it was blocked by the opposing centre backs. That happened a lot, and we ended up receiving the ball in the space behind the opponents more often.
This trend continued into the second half, so I wanted to line up Esaka and Yoshio Koizumi to receive the ball at the halfway point, but Esaka hurt his foot and was substituted. However, Koizumi also played well after that. We had the chance to score a second goal, and we also had plays that closed in on our goal from counterattacks. On the other hand, the opponent also closed in on our goal from counterattacks, creating some dangerous situations. We were unable to hold the ball towards the end, and we continued to be pushed back by the opponent, but we knew before Trial that it would be a difficult Trial, so we hope to continue improving what we are doing now and accumulate points."

- "I'm sorry for the disappointment of my family who supports us in Hiroshima. We tried to sort out our positioning a little at the start of the game, but I think we conceded a goal before our players could get forward and take care of the backline. We knew they would be able to get in from behind, but we weren't able to do so thoroughly, and that's how we started Trial.
"When we concede a goal, the opponent goes into a defensive role, and then counterattacks from that position. We have to score against a defensive opponent, so although we had our chances, it ended up being a very disappointing Trial."
