Trial-match comments
Ricardo Rodriguez
(Head Coach)
- "I think we started Trial well. We were able to find the spaces we wanted to use well. However, as time went on, our opponents changed their defence and started to play a bit harder, and we struggled to break through their solid defence. They started to try to score from counterattacks and set pieces, and because of that, we weren't able to break through their solid defence and score goals. I suppose that's to be expected when they're defending so solidly, but although it took time, we did score in the end, and more than anything, we achieved our biggest goal of getting through this match S.C. Sagamihara and moving on to the next stage, so I think that was good."
Opponent team comment
Takuya Takagi
(Head Coach)
- "Although we had consecutive games, I felt that the players performed to their full potential throughout Trial, and I would like to thank the supporters for their support.
As for the content of the game, our opponent was Urawa, but we said that we would keep moving the ball when we could. In the end, we ended up losing the ball, but I think they did a good job.
On such a big stage, and playing against such an opponent, I think we were able to keep our direction firmly in, and recognize mistakes as mistakes and successes as successes. I think it was a very positive game for the players."
