- "It's rare that you can win easily in a cup like this. It was a very tough match today, but I think it was fair that we won. We already have a lot of injuries, and now Yosuke Kashiwagi has an injury.
We had to approach Trial with a completely new midfield formation that we had never done before. With Hosogai out with an injury, and with the financial situation being very tough, I'm really glad that we were able to win in this way. And because we won today's Trial, Spiranovic, Tanaka Tatsuya, and Yamada Naoki may be able to play in an official match again in the Emperor's Cup Trial in December. The same can be said for Umesaki. At this point, Umesaki is close to being able to join the team training.
As for Hosogai and Kashiwagi Yosuke, we hope they will be able to return to team training within the next few days, rather than at the end of December.
One thing we need to appreciate today is that we were able to achieve victory despite not playing in the way we did today. It is true that there were some aspects of the Trial that should be criticized.
For example, we had a lot of space, so we should have taken advantage of it and scored the second goal early on. However, I think it is a very positive thing that the team was able to achieve a victory in the difficult situation we are in now, and I think it is something that should be evaluated.
