Volker Finke (Head Coach): "I don't want to say too much about today's Trial. Our goal was to win and advance to the next round, and we were able to achieve that goal. There are still many things we need to improve in terms of the content of our game. However, despite being in a very tough financial situation over the past three weeks, the players have produced solid results and have been able to win three out of three Trial. I think this is a situation where we need to give the team a lot of praise, and I believe that the players' excellent performance has allowed us to achieve these results.
In these very difficult circumstances, we were able to see that the team is growing together as one. I think that's great. I certainly hope that Hosogai and Sanu will return from the national team in good health and without injury, but I also hope that Sergio and Ugajin will be able to join the team training as soon as possible.
Considering the financial situation, it is very difficult and we have reached a point where we cannot tolerate any more injuries. Therefore, I hope that as many players as possible will be able to participate in team training.
And I think the atmosphere in this stadium today was fantastic. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly praise the groundskeepers. The condition of the grass has improved a lot since the last time we Trial here, and to be honest, it was a big surprise for us. So I would like to express my gratitude here.

Naohiko Minobe (Head Coach): ``Currently, we are losing consecutive games in the league, and since this is the Emperor's Cup, we will be playing against the Reds, who have a very strong team, a deep depth of players, and high quality, so we are not looking down. Today's big theme was to have confidence in ourselves and challenge our opponents.Although it was a disappointing result, there is no need to look down, and we can do what we can to a certain extent. I think we were able to do it.We made solid blocks defensively, and I think we were able to organize ourselves and defend well so as not to give the opponent any space.As a result, we conceded two goals, a penalty kick and an own goal, but we made good use of that. There's no point in looking at it negatively, but I think the players really worked hard.
However, we had a few chances in attack, but if we could improve on the quality of the cross at the end, the composure and judgment when shooting, we could score points. I think there was a chance. This has always been an issue for our team, so we have league games remaining, so we would like to make sure to improve on these areas.
However, a lot of players and supporters came, and I think we did well against the big club Urawa. I would like to make use of that in the future.”
