Trial-match comments
Holger Osieck
(Head Coach)
- "Trial was a very important Trial.
Right now we just need to get as many points as we can because we have a very tough schedule ahead of us.
Regarding today's Trial, I think we started off very well, but our speed started to drop midway through. I think that was because Kobe's pressing from the front line started to work. Amidst that, I think we started off well again in the second half. We were able to create solid attacks, and after hitting the front line, the midfielder also pushed forward quickly, which I think allowed us to attack effectively. That's how we were able to play our game."
Opponent team comment
Hiroshi Matsuda
(Head Coach)
- "Simply put, it was a very disappointing and frustrating Trial. I think the players did an extremely good job, and the first half in particular went how we had envisioned it, so it was unfortunate that we didn't score, but we managed to hang on at 0-0 and take the lead, and hold on to the win. However, the fact that they scored first, and especially that we were two goals behind, is something we still need to work on, and I feel like that's the difference between us and Urawa.
I think the players are hoping to channel this frustration into the next Trial, and that's how we want to approach the next match."
