Trial-match comments
Holger Osieck
(Head Coach)
- "First of all, I'm happy that we were able to get the three points. That was our main objective today. We had some tough Trial this week. I was very worried about how much of our players' fitness had returned after Trial against Gamba Osaka, but we were able to finish with a solid victory.
In today's Trial, we were able to play fast football from the beginning of the first half, and the ball was passed vertically. The players in the front line were also running into the spaces with a lot of energy. That's how we scored the first goal. After that, our speed faded, but we were able to pick it up again just before the end of the first half, and we were able to score more goals. Kofu was in good form at that time, so I think we were able to score at a good time.
At the start of the second half, we lost our concentration and Kofu scored a goal. Kofu lost their rhythm a little and started to attack well, but on the contrary, they scored the fourth goal at a good time. This decided the game.
Kofu was a very difficult and tough opponent, but I think today's win was a fair one."
Opponent team comment
Takeshi Ohki
(Head Coach)
- "It's been a frustrating game.
We were able to play the game with customers in a nice facility, but if we played a game like the first half, it would end up looking like that. I think we played well in the second half. I am proud of my players. I'll do my best next time."
