Trial-match comments
Holger Osieck
(Head Coach)
- "I'm just happy that we got the three points with today's win.
It was pretty hard work to achieve that.
From our prior analysis, we knew that Kofu would be a very difficult opponent.
Kofu is very energetic and their combination play is working very well. They especially use very tight spaces to pass the ball around.
Once you have stolen it, it was very difficult to re-develop it.
The Reds created chances because they were able to make the first pass quickly after winning the ball and quickly switch between offense and defense.
That approach got even better in the second half.
As a result, we were able to score in the second half and win the game.
Overall, I think it was a very good game.
I'm getting better with every Trial, so I hope to continue to play even better in the future."
Opponent team comment
Takeshi Ohki
(Head Coach)
- "It wasn't that bad of a game. I think we did a good job.
However, you can't win if you can't score points. A draw at best.
In the end, there were some parts that I couldn't protect, so I gave up.
The result is not a good situation, but I think the content of the game is better than the previous section.
I want to do my best to prepare for the next match with a little more ingenuity so that I can score points again.”
