Trial that saw them become J-League champions for the first time.

In the final match, the Reds faced second-placed Gamba at home. If they hadn't lost by more than three points, they would have been in a favorable position to win the championship, but they conceded a goal in the 21st minute, causing some confusion in the stadium. It was Robson Ponte who wiped that out. In the 27th minute, he received a pass in the opponent's half, evaded the defender, and scored a shot to tie the score. The Reds regained their composure, and Washington added two more goals to tie the score as the top scorer. They defeated a tenacious Gamba and lifted the trophy for the first time.
Saitama Stadium was packed with 62,241 fans, breaking the J.League record at the time, and with the Reds also achieving the feat of going unbeaten at home for 17 Trial that year, it was a fitting first victory for the team.

Watch "Everyone's Memories Episode"

The moment all Urawa fans and supporters have been waiting for. More than 62,000 people gathered, and the cheering and enthusiasm at that time was tremendous, and I didn't feel like I was losing.
At that time, I was in elementary school and watched the game with my parents from Urawa Support since the opening of the J. I will never forget the winning whistle and the cheers that followed. There were times when I left Urawa to go on to higher education or find a job, but now that I'm back home (Saitama), I keep shouting out to relive those moments!

I was still cheering behind the north goal, and when the final Trial blew I collapsed to my knees and burst into tears. I was a local supporter, so I had booked a hotel, but I ended up spending the night talking with my friends in the city of Urawa.

I bought a ticket for the final game regardless of whether I won or not, but I thought it would be decided at the 33rd round, but it was a tie all the way to the final game, which made me happy and sad. I took my daughter, who was born in 2005, to the stadium for the first time, and I ignored her as a babysitter and cheered her on.
When Ponte scored the equalizing goal and the stadium was filled with excitement, my daughter was so surprised that she cried and I remember being flustered without the afterglow of the goal. When the winner was decided, I was sleeping peacefully and didn't notice the hustle and bustle around me.

It was a battle called the National Derby for Urawa Reds Reds to win the league title for the first time. It is the greatest joy in my life that I was able to be present at that time on that day. I think it was a moment when the feelings of the supporters, who all stood up and held their hands high, were connected to the players.
I would like to push forward with Urawa every day for the best moment to visit Urawa again. We are Reds!

My daughter had just been born at the end of October, so instead of leaving my wife and daughter behind and going to the stadium alone, I chose to cheer on the team together with my wife and newborn daughter in front of the TV at home, and we all enjoyed the long-awaited moment of joy together as a family.
After the victory was decided, my smiling wife sent me off and we went to the city of Urawa. On the way to the west exit wearing the uniform, many people asked me about the result of Trial and we cheered together. In front of the bright red-stained Chikara, we were surrounded by smiles and cheers, and everyone was filled with happiness. My daughter, who was so small at the time, is now a high school student. I hope that this time, the three of us will be together at the stadium and in the city of Urawa to celebrate the moment of the J.League victory.

Hokkaido trip for the first time in my life. At the moment of winning, I switched to a one-night, two-day bullet trip and took the first flight in the morning to Haneda. There are also red companions on the plane. As we landed safely and headed for the exit, CA-san said WE are reds! And a glimpse of the badge from the pocket of the uniform.
The company is a sponsor of a certain team, so I can't shout out, and I smile. When I received the soul, I headed to Saitama Studio. I would be happy if that cabin attendant still supports the Reds.

I saw the victory on TV in the hospital room. In October of that year, I suffered a serious injury and was bedridden and spent days undergoing treatment, but I was encouraged by the victory of the Reds.
Now, I feel happy to be able to support the Reds at Saitama Stadium. Next time. I want to see the Reds win at Saitama Stadium.

At the time, I was working alone in Sendai, and when I returned to my apartment from a business trip just before Trial started, I turned on the TV and saw the Vegalta Sendai Trial. The only match being broadcast on terrestrial TV was the Sendai match, not Urawa Reds Trial.
The Reds were playing Trial behind the BS, but the TV in my place of employment didn't show BS, so I rushed to the office and watched Trial on the company TV from the middle. A senior colleague was working on the holiday, so I was worried, but I couldn't help but cheer out loud in the conference room. I think my senior colleague was noisy while working, but he said "Congratulations on the victory."

The fact that the first league title and Washington's top scorer title would be decided in the final home Trial was dramatic, but Trial unfolded in a dramatic way. Although Gamba took the lead, the home atmosphere led to a comeback goal and the team won.
It was an era when many national team players and popular players were on the roster and the attendance was the highest. Ponte and Washington were great, but everyone was great, including Tulio, Hasebe, and Keita. Alex, confident of victory, started beating the drums on the bench before the end of Trial, which added to the festive mood of the victory. I still treasure the Hanabishi suit I bought to commemorate the victory. I hope to win again and fill Saitama Stadium.

The day that Urawa Reds won their first J.League title! I was a third-year junior high school student at the time. The popularity of Urawa Reds was at its peak, and even in a stadium with a capacity as large as Saitama Stadium, tickets were a scramble to get a decent seat.
Although I wasn't able to get tickets to this Trial that determined the championship, I really wanted to watch Trial, so I approached some supporter friends to find someone who would give up their tickets. I pulled out a picture from a large framed panel that had held a group photo from my soccer club days, put a piece of paper with a message like "Please give me two tickets" inside, and started calling out to supporters around Urawa Misono and Saitama Stadium, saying "I'm looking for two tickets! Does anyone have any spare tickets?"
On the way, some people teased me and approached me, saying, "We don't have any left," but after I kept calling out to them, an old lady came running up to me and said, "You want the elementary and junior high school tickets, right? I have two left!" I was surprised and excited, and expressed my gratitude and bought the tickets. After that, I got a seat in the back lower section near the south goal and watched the long-awaited Trial. I don't remember when it started, but I remember that the back lower section was standing and cheering for the Trial, even though you're supposed to sit and watch except for the goal. In Trial, Ponte played a great role for Washington, and they finally won the championship. It was an experience that I will cherish forever, and it made me realize that it's okay to take action for your wishes and dreams, and it helped me grow a lot.

Speaking of Gamba games, this is Trial! I've been supporting the Reds since I was a child, and they were even relegated to J2, but they finally won the J1 championship, and it's one of Trial I'll never forget until the end of my life!
Even if we lost the direct confrontation with the second place team, we were in an overwhelmingly favorable position to win the championship if we were within two points, but I remember that Trial unfolded in a tense manner typical of the Reds until the very end. In the last few minutes, I felt both the excitement of winning our first championship and the fear that we might be tied! I hope that one day we will be able to play Trial against Gamba Osaka for the league championship!
