J League 30th Anniversary Match

The J-League celebrates its 30th anniversary on May 15th.
In a match that brought tears of joy to my eyes,
A match where I fought in the rain and got soaked.
It seems that the enthusiasm of that day is revived,
An unforgettable game
Everyone should have it.
On this day, we all have such memories
Don't you get excited while talking?
With 30 years worth of memories,
Why don't you shout out at Saisuta to your heart's content?
From here again, the next hot memory,
with you.

Announcement of final voting results!

2006.12.02 Saitama Stadium 2002

2006.12.02 Saitama Stadium 2002

Section 34 of J1
○ 3 – 2
[Scorer]
Ponte, Washington x 2

It was the match that made him the first J.League champion.

In the last round, they welcomed Gamba in 2nd place, and if they were to lose by 3 points or more, the Reds would have won the championship, but they scored in the 21st minute, and the stadium was shaken to some extent. Robson Ponte wiped it out. In the 27th minute, when he received a pass in the opponent's half, he dodged the defender and poured in a shot to equalize. The Reds regained their composure and then Washington added two more points to equal the tie for top scorer. I put down the tenacious gamba and raised the first petri dish.
With 62,241 players in the Saitama Stadium, breaking the J.League record at the time, and a feat of 17 undefeated home games for the year, it was a fitting first victory for the Reds.

Watch "Everyone's Memories Episode"

The moment all Urawa fans and supporters have been waiting for. More than 62,000 people gathered, and the cheering and enthusiasm at that time was tremendous, and I didn't feel like I was losing.
At that time, I was in elementary school and watched the game with my parents from Urawa Support since the opening of the J. I will never forget the winning whistle and the cheers that followed. There were times when I left Urawa to go on to higher education or find a job, but now that I'm back home (Saitama), I keep shouting out to relive those moments!

I was still cheering behind the north goal, and when the whistle blew at the end of the match, I fell to my knees and cried. Since I was a local supporter, I had booked a hotel room, but ended up spending the night in the town of Urawa talking with my friends.

I bought a ticket for the final game regardless of whether I won or not, but I thought it would be decided at the 33rd round, but it was a tie all the way to the final game, which made me happy and sad. I took my daughter, who was born in 2005, to the stadium for the first time, and I ignored her as a babysitter and cheered her on.
When Ponte scored the equalizing goal and the stadium was filled with excitement, my daughter was so surprised that she cried and I remember being flustered without the afterglow of the goal. When the winner was decided, I was sleeping peacefully and didn't notice the hustle and bustle around me.

It was a battle called the National Derby for Urawa Reds Reds to win the league title for the first time. It is the greatest joy in my life that I was able to be present at that time on that day. I think it was a moment when the feelings of the supporters, who all stood up and held their hands high, were connected to the players.
I would like to push forward with Urawa every day for the best moment to visit Urawa again. We are Reds!

My daughter had just been born at the end of October, so I didn't leave my wife and daughter to go to the stadium by myself. We chose to cheer, and the whole family enjoyed the long-awaited moment of joy.
After winning the championship, my smiling wife sent me off to the city of Urawa. On the way to the west exit wearing the uniform, many people asked about the result of the match and cheered together. . My daughter who was so small is already a high school student before I knew it, and this time, I want to celebrate the moment of winning the J League championship with the three of us at the stadium and in the city of Urawa.

Hokkaido trip for the first time in my life. At the moment of winning, I switched to a one-night, two-day bullet trip and took the first flight in the morning to Haneda. There are also red companions on the plane. As we landed safely and headed for the exit, CA-san said WE are reds! And a glimpse of the badge from the pocket of the uniform.
The company is a sponsor of a certain team, so I can't shout out, and I smile. When I received the soul, I headed to Saitama Studio. I would be happy if that cabin attendant still supports the Reds.

I saw the victory on TV in the hospital room. In October of that year, I suffered a serious injury and was bedridden and spent days undergoing treatment, but I was encouraged by the victory of the Reds.
Now, I feel happy to be able to support the Reds at Saitama Stadium. Next time. I want to see the Reds win at Saitama Stadium.

At the time, I was working alone in Sendai, and just before the start of the match, I returned to the apartment where I was posted and turned on the TV for Vegalta Sendai match. The terrestrial match was only against Sendai, not Urawa Reds.
Behind the BS, the Reds game was being played, but the BS was not shown on the TV where I was away from home, so I hurriedly went to the company and watched the game on the company TV. A senior employee was working on a holiday, and while I was concerned about it, I unintentionally raised my voice in the conference room and cheered him on. I think my senior was noisy during work, but he said, "Congratulations on winning."

First of all, the situation that the game that decides the first league title and Washington's top scorer can be done in the final home game seems to be a drama, but the game development was also dramatic. Although Gamba scored the opening goal, the atmosphere at home attracted a comeback and won.
It was a time when many representative players and popular players were enrolled and the number of spectators was the largest. Ponte and Washington were amazing, but Torio, Hasebe, Keita and everyone else were amazing. Alex, who was convinced of victory, started beating the drums on the bench before the end of the match, adding to the festive mood of victory. I still treasure the Hanabishi suit I bought to commemorate my victory. I want to win again and fill Saitama Stadium.

The memorable day Urawa Reds won their first J-League title! At that time, I was a boy in the third year of junior high school. The popularity of Urawa Reds was at its peak, and even in a stadium that boasts a capacity as large as Saitama Stadium, if you want to see a decent number of seats, you will have to scramble for tickets.
I couldn't get a ticket for this game that the championship was at stake, but I really wanted to see the game, so I decided to look for someone who would give it to my supporter friends. I pulled out a photo from the large picture frame panel that had a group photo of the soccer club, put a piece of paper with a sentence like "Please give me two tickets", and shouted loudly to the supporters around Urawa Misono and Saitama Stadium. "I'm looking for two tickets! Anyone have any leftovers?"
On the way, some people teased me and approached me and said, ``I don't have any left over. Yo!" he called out. Surprised and excited, I thanked him and bought the ticket. After that, I took a seat in the back row near the back of the south goal and watched the long-awaited game. I don't remember when it started, but I remember that the back rowers stood up and cheered for the game, even though they were supposed to be watching from behind the goal. In the game, Ponde was very active in Washington and finally won the championship. It was a life-long memory, and it was an experience that made me grow a lot, thinking that I should take action for my own wishes and dreams.

Speaking of Gamba match, this match! The Reds, who I've been supporting since I was a kid and have been relegated to J2, finally won the J1 championship, and it's one of the games I'll never forget until the end of my life!
Even if we lost in a direct confrontation with the 2nd place team, we were in an overwhelming advantage of winning the championship if we were within 2 points difference, but I remember that it was a Reds-like match that kept us on our toes until the very end. At the same time, I was feeling nervous and worried that we might be caught up in a tie! Hoping for the day when we can play against Gamba Osaka for the league title!
